How to get La Provence by plane

The flights toward La Provence region are operated by all major French and European airlines.
Air France operates numerous flights between Paris and the different Provencal airports.
Around twenty departures are scheduled every day from Paris to Marseilles and four to Avignon (about 1.30 hour flight).
Other departures from major cities of France are possible.

How to get La Provence by Train

 TGV (High Speed Train) leaves several times a day from Paris ("Gare de Lyon" train station) toward the Provence Alpes Cotes d'Azur region (PACA).
There are about twenty departures every day to Marseilles (3 hour trip) and about twelve to Avignon (2.30 hour trip).

How to get La Provence by car

The Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur region (PACA) has a good freeway and road network.
The A6 Highway (also called "The highway of the sun") links Paris to Lyon and descends south bound via Valencia and Orange.
Then take the A7 highway to keep the direction of Marseilles.
(About 10 hour trip.)

From Bordeaux, take the A62 highway to Toulouse, then take the A61 to Narbonne and Nîmes. The A8 highway (also called "The Provencal") crosses the region from west to east, from Aix in Provence to Menton.
